YSL Rouge Cape (83) Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick ($38.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium-dark red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a lightly glossy, cream-like finish. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to semi-opaque, which applied smoothly and evenly across my lips. The consistency was lightweight, emollient but not overly slippery (after about 15 seconds--it felt wetter as it applied but not so much while worn). I was impressed at how even the color went on and how it didn't emphasize my lip lines. This shade stayed on well for five hours and left a faint stain behind, while the formula felt hydrating over time.
