This was the first eye-primer I ever used and I swore by it for years. However, with each bottle I've had, the first few uses are great, and then I have to force myself to use the rest of it because it doesn't hold the color like the earlier uses. I have found a less-expensive, more effective option that I'll stick to from now on,

A classic, it gets the job done!! All my shadows look great on top of it, I just wish it was a little cheaper! That is literally my only issue with it. After I use up what I have I'll probably try another brand to start a search for a cheaper alternative.

This is a good primer, but I don't really understand the hype when the ELF primer is just as good. I've heard the primer potion in the shade Eden is better because it cancels out veins on the eyelid, but I purchased the classic transparent one and wasn't super wowed.
