Ranavalona is a light, white gold with a transparent base and flecks of champagne sparkle throughout. The texture was lightly emollient but not enough to keep all that sparkle in place when applied and blended out, so fallout was an issue both during application as well as during wear. It had semi-sheer to medium coverage, which may have been as intended, but there weren't shade descriptions so I rated it like the formula in general (which is pigmented!). This shade lasted decently for eight hours with some fallout over time.
