Black is a deep black with cool undertones and a satiny sheen. The Sketch Marker formula is supposed to be a long-wearing, waterproof, and vivid liquid eyeliner. It was very pigmented with a smooth, fluid consistency that applied easily and did not seem too watery nor did it apply unevenly. The tip had enough flex that you could maneuver around the curves of the eyelid without issue. The formula takes a bit of time to dry down and set, so if using on the upper lash line, I'd keep my eye shut for about 20 seconds after applying if you can.
