Hot Buttered Rum is a medium brown with warmer undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly across and along the edges of my lips, but it separated a bit along my deeper lip lines as it dried down. The texture was lightweight, flulid, and smooth without feeling heavy or taking too long to dry down (but gave me enough time to maneuver the color into place). It wore well for five and a half hours and was non-drying. It had a noticeable, sweet, buttery scent and a touch of sweetness in taste.
