For those looking for intense, metallic finishes, this is not that; the shimmers are subtle, more satin-to-pearl when applied to bare skin with a dry brush.
I definitely don't think there are enough satin finish eyeshadows on the market, but these aren't the best example of them as they were on the thinner side, so they did not apply as evenly or as easily a they could have. Both matte shades performed well with good coverage, blendability, and longevity.
