Smoky Quartz #4 is an inky, deep red-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The eyeshadow had incredibly high color payoff, so one should go easier and build up if uncomfortable working with that level of payoff. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable with a "melted" appearance on my skin. It wore well for nine hours before showing signs of fading.
