Tarte Steel the Show is a slightly cool-toned, dark black with a metallic finish. It is a permanent eyeshadow that retails for $22.00 and contains 0.11 oz.
Tarte Steel the Show Chrome Paint Shadow Pot ($22.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a soft black with a metallic sheen. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, and it performed the same in finish, application, and intensify regardless of being used dry or wet. If I used a dampened brush, it just seemed to make the pigmentation stretch further, but the end result was the same. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and lightly creamy, even in its less pressed form. It applied evenly and blended out with ease along the edges. It stayed on well for nine hours before creasing faintly on me.
