Simmer is a medium copper with warm, golden undertones and a metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin,b ut the texture was a bit drier and took more effort to pickup evenly with a brush. The texture would be better served by a dampened brush for application. It lasted for seven and a half hours on me.
