Tarte Chrome for the Holidays is a slightly warm-toned, medium-dark gold with a sparkle finish. It is a limited edition eyeshadow.

Editor's Review

Chrome for the Holidays is a light-medium, antique gold with a metallic sheen. The texture was dusty, which made it apply unevenly and look a little dry on the skin. It had decent pigmentation, but the dusty texture made it prone to sheering out when blended. This shade lasted for seven hours. Anastasia Metal (P, $12.00) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Anastasia Beigely (LE, $12.00) is lighter (90% similar). KVD Beauty Telepathy (DC, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). Cle de Peau Champagne Supernova #1 (PiP, ) is lighter (90% similar). Viseart Jeu de Paume (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Smashbox Platinum (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). ColourPop I Heart This (P, $6.00) is lighter (90% similar). bareMinerals Golden Pear (LE, $14.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). ColourPop Fringe (P, $6.00) is warmer (85% similar). Sephora + Pantone Universe Shifting Sand (LE, ) is lighter (85% similar). Hello Kitty Cookie (LE, ) is darker, more muted (80% similar). Natasha Denona True Gold (20M) (P, $29.00) is cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
