Sephora Fig Jam (31) Ultra Shine Lip Gel ($14.00 for 0.11 oz.) is cool-toned violet with a jelly-like finish. The consistency is thicker and heavier compared to most glosses in the range--it has more in common with petroleum jelly than your typical gloss as it is so much thicker. It still has the glossy, high-shine finish, but it appears more like a stain on. On me, it tended to look like an uneven, fuchsia-like stain. It lasted for three hours. Originally, Sephora didn't have descriptions up for this range, but now they're listing the finish, which they describe as "clear" for this one (the others include descriptions like "shimmer" and "pearl") -- but it seems to define the thicker, more jelly-like shades; I think "translucent jelly" or "sheer" might be more apt descriptions.
