Sephora Love Affair Contour Eye Pencil ($10.00 for 0.04 oz.) is described as a "plum." It's a blackened plum with neutral undertones and a pearly sheen. It had so-so color coverage in a single pass but was buildable to opaque color with two layers. It had a really creamy, glide-on consistency that didn't tug. This shade lasted for ten hours on me. Tarte Plum (LE) is warmer. Burberry Pale Grape No. 04 (P, $29.00) is darker, less shimmery. NARS Night Bird (P, $24.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Nightshade (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Tarina Tarantino Ultraviolet (P, $15.00) is very similar. MAC Strong Willed (P, $20.00) is similar. Urban Decay Rockstar (P, $19.00) is very similar. Chanel Cassis (P, $30.00) is less shimmery.
