After Midnight is a dark, grayish taupe with cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had semi-sheer color payoff that was difficult to apply, as the texture was drier and stiff in the pan. This resulted in an uneven amount of product on the lid that did not want to blend out. This shade wore well for six and a half hours on me.
