Clove is a medium-dark burgundy-red with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had excellent pigmentation paired with a soft, blendable texture that wasn't too soft nor too firmly pressed in the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before I noticed fading along the edges.
