Old Church Street (Right) is a blackened, bluish teal with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation paired with a thinner, slightly powdery texture. I was surprised, but the eyeshadow actually blended out without too much additional effort--better than a lot of deeper, matte shades by NARS in my experience. This shade wore well for eight hours before fading.

I've had the Old Church Street duo for a few months now (picked it up in August or Sept. 2020, steeply marked down) and while I really wanted it for the lighter left hand side of the duo - a lovely coppery beige - I have really been enjoying this darker side a lot in the past weeks and months. It just looks good on me - applied on the outer third of my mobile lid and buffed - to soften it and to bring it up into the crease. As Christine pointed out in her review of this shade, it really does blend out beautifully and easily. Basically, it gives a very nice smokey eye that doesn't look ridiculous on someone my age.
