Basic Instinct is a soft, rosy copper with warm undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. It had opaque color coverage with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was denser without being stiff. It applied well to bare skin and blended out easily. It wore well for eight hours on me before it started to fade.
