Provocative Red is described as a "fuchsia rose." It's a muted, medium-dark reddish-plum with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that covered the lips with even color. The texture wasn't too stiff or too creamy, so you still retained a very flat, matte finish but was fairly easy to apply without skipping. It wore for six hours but was a little drying over time.
