Opera is a rich burgundy with subtle, cool undetones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer, which was buildable, but the texture was unforgiving--it was firmer and thinner, which made it prone to darkening unevenly on my skin. It needed to be applied over a powdered or drier base, though it was still a struggle to blend out the edges. It stayed on well for nine hours before showing some fading, and it left a faint stain behind after I removed it.
