Merit Raspberry Beret Flush Balm Cream Blush ($28.00 for 0.31 oz.) is a medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and a glossy finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage that could be sheered out further or layered for more semi-sheer to medium coverage if desired.
The texture was very emollient, thin, and slippery, but it applied better than anticipated--I didn't struggle to have it sit evenly and stay in place on my cheeks, whether that was over bare skin or on top of foundation. It never dried down, so it was movable if I wanted to blend out later on (even an hour in!), which may not work for everyone's routines. The product applied evenly and blended out well, and coupled with the sheerer color, it was hard to over-apply or go wrong. It lasted well for six hours before fading visibly.
