Melt Cosmetics Amor y Mariposas 20-Pan Pressed Pigment Palette ($70.00 for 0.705 oz.) is a mega-sized palette that contains two rows of eyeshadows and two rows of pressed pigments (which contain pigments not approved for use on the eyes by the FDA). There are six shimmery shades with the remaining 14 shades being matte in finish.
The pigmentation and texture varied a lot from shade to shade; the mattes were generally on the thinner side, but several were powdery to the point of being sheerer and/or having fallout issues. The shimmers, on the whole, were more emollient and easier to work with than some of the brand's past shimmer eyeshadows, but they were noticeably thicker/denser compared to the mattes, so layering wasn't always foolproof.
