Maybelline Pearlescent Peach (520) Color Elixir Iridescent Lipgloss ($8.99 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is a semi-sheer, peachy-coral with warm undertones and fine gold shimmer. It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied fairly evenly and was comfortable to wear. The gloss lasted for three hours on me. It's nowhere near the coverage Maybelline markets the formula as having, though. If you like sheerer glosses and aren't sensitive to taste (the Color Elixirs have a strong soap-like/perfume-like taste), it might be worth considering. Dior Rieuse (373) (P, $35.00) is less shimmery, more opaque. NARS Stella (P, $26.00) is pinker. NARS Salamanca (P, $26.00) is redder. Chanel Sonate (178) (P, $29.50) is less shimmery. MAC Fever Isle (LE, $20.00) is brighter, more opaque. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
