Make Up For Ever Eggplant (501) Artist Acrylip ($24.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a deep brown-based burgundy with warm undertones and a glossy finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (to about semi-opaque) with a very glossy finish and more slippery texture. Some of the color migrated past my natural lip line, which isn't something that happens too often to me, so I would recommend using a lip liner with this shade. The texture, while comfortable, seemed too slippery for this type of color, as it yielded uneven coverage. This shade wore for five hours on me.
The Artist Acrylip is a versatile lip formula inspired by the high pigment of acrylic paint. The stunning colors glide on with the ease of a gloss and the wear time of a lipstick. Ranging from a soft wash of color to an intensely layered look, the non-sticky, non-drying formula feels completely weightless for optimal comfort. The innovative cushion applicator delivers 10 captivating shades with precision.
