MAC Rosy Does It Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark berry with strong, cool undertones and a satin sheen. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage when applied with a brush and medium, buildable coverage when applied with fingertips.
The blush had a smooth, lightly emollient consistency that felt malleable beneath some pressure but didn't have the wetness I'd associate with a traditional cream blush formula. It was thin and more powder-like as soon as it came into contact with my skin, which yielded a more watercolor-effect when this shade was applied and blended out. The color went on fairly evenly but needed some extra care to blend it out perfectly, and I would use a lighter hand to avoid lifting up base products if applying it over foundation/powder. It wore well for eight and a half hours before I noticed fading.
MAC Glow Play Blushes launch February 6th and will be available in 11 shades; see the collection information here.
