Makeup by Mario Poppy Pink Soft Pop Powder Blush ($24.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark pink with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, which made it more pigmented than marketed. The soft, silky, and thinner texture made it more controllable, so one could use a lighter hand to achieve sheerer, more buildable coverage if preferred--it just wasn't innately buildable.
The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth with a touch of powderiness present in the pan but none on my skin. The blush applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with little effort, which was impressive as this vivid hue coupled with the matte finish are often only workable over powdered skin. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
