Kerala Sun is a soft gold with warm, yellow undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good pigmentation in a single stroke, which was buildable to mostly opaque coverage that wasn't too uneven. I wish there was a little more creaminess to the formula to help it go on more evenly and smoothly from the get-go, though. The texture was firmer and waxy enough not to tug, but it just didn't deliver richness to the lash line. This shade stayed on well for nine hours before fading noticeably, though it did not seem to run or feather when it came into contact with water.
