MAC Lightscapade is a moderately warm-toned, light beige with a luminous finish. It is a permanent blush that retails for $34.00 and contains 0.35 oz.

Editor's Review

Lightscapade is a very light, gold-tinted white with a luminous finish. The Mineralize Skinfinish formula is supposed to have a “velvety soft” feel and a “radiant finish” with “sheer coverage.” It had semi-sheer, buildable color coverage with a soft, smooth consistency that wasn't dusty or powdery in the pan. The powder blended out easily on the skin, and it gave an ethereal glow to the skin that did not emphasize my pores or the natural texture of my skin. It wore well for seven hours on me before fading. NARS Sunstreak (LE, $30.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). lilah b. b enchanting (P, $60.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). MAC Too Chic (LE, $22.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Chanel Duo N. 02 (Top) (LE, ) is darker (95% similar). Cle de Peau Delicate Pink (14) (P, $55.00) is cooler (90% similar). Clinique Lunar Pop (LE, $32.50) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Coloured Raine Luxurious Bling (P, $25.00) is more shimmery, cooler (90% similar). NARS 1977 (LE, $38.00) is more shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Illamasqua Aurora (P, $24.00)(90% similar). Urban Decay Luminous (P, $30.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). ColourPop Pretty Bonnes (LE, $10.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Hourglass Incandescent Strobe Light (P, $40.00) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Tarte Pink Champagne (LE, ) is more shimmery (90% similar). Natasha Denona Light (01) (P, $38.00) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (85% similar). Becca Moonstone (P, $38.00) is warmer (90% similar). MAC Tutu (LE, $44.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Chanel Camelia de Plumes (LE, $76.00) is more shimmery, cooler (85% similar). Too Faced Peach Pearl (PiP, ) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

This shade blew me out of the water, it is absolutely gorgeous. I was looking for a versatile highlight that I could build up, wear alone, wear intensely, or wear lightly, and this totally fits the bill. Don't let the colorful veins scare you: they all blend together to create an incredibly unique, wearable and stunning highlight that has a very light iridescent effect. I get so many compliments on my makeup when I wear Lightscapade! You get so much product in the pan which is awesome since this product is $32, and I'm pretty sure I won't be running out of this for a long long time even though I use this shade nearly every day. This is a gem in my collection and I have nothing similar to it which I love. I am a shade NW 15 in most of MAC's foundations for reference. However, I truly believe any skin tone could pull this off. If you're looking for an absolutely gorgeous, versatile highlight to add to your collection, or you're new to highlighting and want something that will look very natural, try this, you will be in love.

I think the fact this product is limited is the reason I wanted to buy it so badly, and after finally finding it on counter I had to buy it! I just think it looks so pretty in the pan, but on the skin it's a bit too natural for my liking. I find I really have to apply in layers in order to get it to the level I want. However, it is a great product that applies nicely, and you get a lot in the pan so it will last a while. I would recommend it more for a natural look, and not for those who like a heavily highlighted face.
