MAC Strange Journey is a moderately warm-toned, dark orange with a semi-matte finish. It is a limited edition lipstick that retails for $19.00 and contains 0.1 oz.
MAC Strange Journey Lipstick ($17.50 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "yellowish brick red [with a Matte finish]." It's a brightened, orange-red with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had really good color payoff, and the texture was creamy and glided on beautifully (creamiest of the four). The color stayed on well for six hours and left a stain behind. It was neither drying nor hydrating. Bobbi Brown Lady Ruba (P, $26.00) is lighter. NARS Carmen (P, $32.00) is redder. NARS Marlene (P, $32.00) is similar. NARS Rita (P, $32.00) is darker, redder. NARS Annabella (P, $32.00) is brighter. MAC Dangerous (P, $16.00) is more matte. MAC Scarlet Ibis (LE, $16.00) is more matte, darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
