Editor's Review

MAC Little Buddha Lipstick ($16.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "bright peachy pink." It's a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a silver pearl. It looked warmer swatched than applied, even against my skin tone. The texture was noticeably gritty from the amount of shimmer in it, and it tended to emphasize lip lines and settled into them two hours into the four hour wear time. It was semi-opaque, and it was more opaque than most of the other shades. It was slightly drying as well. Bobbi Brown Pink Flush (LE, $25.00) is lighter. YSL Caress Pink (9) (P, $34.00) is less shimmery, brighter, warmer. MAC What a Feeling! (LE, $20.00) is lighter, glossier. Givenchy Rose Taffetas (201) (P, $36.00) is less shimmery, warmer, glossier. Buxom Mistress (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery. Guerlain Gemma (P, $51.00) is more shimmery, warmer. Too Faced Razzle Dazzle Rose (P, $22.00) is less shimmery, lighter. Estee Lauder Powerful (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, cooler. Too Faced Metallic Bunny (P, $21.00) is more shimmery. Chanel Elise (448) (P, $36.00) is less shimmery, darker. Chanel Roussy (426) (P, $36.00) is warmer. Laura Mercier Heartbreaker (LE, $23.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

I'm giving it three and a half stars for the beautiful colour. I find the texture sticky and notice that it applies unevenly. Lipliner is a must with this product. I always have to blend with my fingertip and blot with a tissue. Still, the colour is lovely. I wore it for my passport photo!
