Up at Dawn

MAC Up at Dawn Eyeshadow ($16.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a "sherbet orange [with a Satin finish]." It's a lightly brightened, meidum orange with warm undertones and a satin shimmer. It had good color payoff, but the texture was dusty and on the thinner side, so it had trouble adhering well to the skin. It only seemed to work decently over a thicker base like a MAC Paint Pot, but it did not work well with thinner primers like Urban Decay Primer Potion or MAC's 24-Hour Prep + Prime. I could get a tinge of the color if I swept it above the crease, but it was never opaque. The color lasted for seven hours on me.
