Black Currant is a deep plum with cooler undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow felt finely-milled but was more powdery with more medium, buildable coverage. In practice, it didn't seem like a really weak eyeshadow, as it did build up and blended out well (and sometimes more pigmented takes on this type of shade are firmer and patchy in practice). It lasted nicely for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably on me.
