Bedrock is a muted, medium brown with warm, olive undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, soft, and velvety texture that wasn't too powdery nor was it too firmly packed in the pan. There was a substantial feel to it, so it did not sheer out immediately but was still easily blended along the edges. It started to fade on me after seven and a half hours of wear.
