Ruby #8 is a light-medium coral with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. The texture was rather powdery and more loosely-pressed, which resulted in semi-sheer coverage. It was somewhat buildable but performed best over an eyeshadow primer or base in order to get more impact out of it. The color wore well for seven and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.
