Mauve #1 is a muted, dark burgundy with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation (up to mostly opaque) with a moderately powdery texture, which was part of the reason it didn't have great coverage. It was blendable, though, and applied better than I expected based on how it swatched initially. This shade wore well for eight hours on me before fading.
