Emerald #3 is a medium green with warmer undertones and a metallic finish. It had rich color payoff in a single layer with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was a bit dense and thicker than the typical powder eyeshadow--more emollient as a result, too--and worked best with a flat, synthetic brush and pressed and pushed onto the lid (no sweeping to deposit!). The eyeshadow lasted well for eight and a half hours on me.
