Givenchy Magnolia Organza (301) is a slightly warm-toned, medium-dark coral with a luminous finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $36.00 and contains 0.12 oz.

Editor's Review

Givenchy Magnolia Organza (301) Le Rouge Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a "bright reddish pink." It's a bright, bold, medium-dark pink with warm, reddish undertones and a luminous sheen. The color payoff was incredibly rich and yielded full color coverage in a single stroke. It wore well for five and a half hours and was hydrating while worn. MAC Pleasurefruit (LE, $16.00) is pinker. Givenchy Rose Dressing (202) (P, $36.00) is lighter. Maybelline Shocking Coral (P, $7.49) is darker, slightly warmer. MAC Watch Me Simmer (LE, $15.00) is lighter. MAC Heart to Heart (LE, $15.00) is lighter. MAC Force of Love (LE, $15.00) is lighter, pinker. Guerlain Gracy (LE, $49.50) is slightly darker. See comparison swatches.

I only wish I had discovered this shade sooner. It's my HG and I'm not in the least surprised that Christine gave it an A+. Her review says it all better than I can. All I can add is my coloring, if that would be helpful to anyone else who might be considering it. But first, let me say that it looks a lot lighter on Christine than it looks on me. She has a much darker complexion that I do. I'm fair (not the fairest, but fair) with a slight pink undertone. My hair is very dark brunette (not black, but still very, very dark). My eyebrows are black. This color is a dark pink on me. It doesn't have enough blue in it to make it a fuchsia, imo. It's more of a somewhat bright (not bright-bright or neon), clear (as opposed to being muted with any brown or plum), reddish-pink -- at least that's how it appears on me. I believe it's a unique color (hence, the HG tag) and I certainly don't know of any quality dupes (and I've always searched for this color all my life, and that's no joke). It's more expensive than most, but the quality is so wonderful and the color is so flattering that I'm more than willing to pay the price. I love wearing it!!! :)
