New in Town is a bright, light golden beige with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, shiny finish. It had good color coverage, but it needed to be applied with a fingertip for fuller coverage (and this method also minimized fallout). The brand recommended that it be applied with a fingertip for "maximum application," which I found to be true.
The texture was more densely-packed into the pan, slightly creamy to the touch, and felt similar to the brand's Block Party eyeshadows but not quite as emollient. When applied with a dry brush, there was light fallout, and with a fingertip, there was just a few stray flecks. The product went on evenly and smoothly to bare skin. The majority of the product was intact after eight hours of wear but there was light fallout over time.
