Pied de Poule #4 is a blackened burgundy with multi-colored sparkle over a matte finish. This shade was very dry, so it yielded sheer color payoff and was harder to blend on the skin. The sparkle did apply to the lid, but a lot of it fell out within five hours of wear. It's such a dark color that it ends up looking more like a black eyeshadow than one with purple tones--but if you have pink-toned skin, you may see the nuance better.
