Dior Smoky Sequins (066 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($63.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, limited edition five-pan eyeshadow palette that features a medium gray, white, golden bronze, dark gray, and dark black. The formula feels like last year's holiday eyeshadow formula, which was a little easier to use and better performing than some of Dior's other eyeshadow palettes in recent times. It is described as being "ultra-pigmented" with " no powdery effect." The palette was decent with respect to pigmentation, texture, and wear; it's the kind of palette that is on the cusp of being good, but it would work for someone who typically wears primer already. I wish the center shade wasn't a warm-toned gold/bronze hue; I think it would have been better with something cooler, perhaps a violet, blue, or silvery taupe.
