Danessa Myricks Trooper Colorfix Matte ($18.00 for 0.34 oz.) is a deep, grayish taupe-brown with muted, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer and was easier to wear at more medium and higher coverage than really sheered out, so it tended to be easiest to work with on eyes or lips as one had to use very, very little product and work quickly to diffuse the color on the cheeks (could be used as a contour).
The consistency was on the thinner, slightly runny, side but spread well, dried down very quickly (signature of the formula, which you may love or loathe!), and went on evenly for eyes and lips with little effort. It wore well for 10 hours on eyes and cheeks and over six hours as a lip product (but was a little drying as a lip product). When I wore it as a lip product, it applied evenly, didn't separate along my lip lines as it dried down, and felt a touch tacky but the color didn't lift up when I pressed my lips together.
