Editor's Review

The formula is supposed to have "customizable" coverage that delivers a "high-impact finish" that can be used on "eyes, lips, and beyond." These are very sparkling, shimmering, and metallic shades with a thin, lightly mousse-like consistency that dries down quickly and seems to last quite well, even on eyes. I had some trouble diffusing and blending out the edges as nicely as I wanted as they dried down too fast when I worked with brushes (it was easier to blend in time when just applying one shade all over the lid). On the eyes, they worked and applied best patted over another eyeshadow to do a glittery accent, halo eye, or placed onto the lid in a cut-crease look, but I struggled using more than one shade together (as a single eye look) and found they were a little thick and more... On the eyes, they worked and applied best patted over another eyeshadow to do a glittery accent, halo eye, or placed onto the lid in a cut-crease look, but I struggled using more than one shade together (as a single eye look) and found they were a little thick and more prone to emphasizing lid texture if applied more heavily or into the crease. I didn't have any issues with the formula flaking or creasing on the eyes, though.

On the lips, they tended to apply with medium to semi-opaque coverage and spread evenly across the lips with little work (I used my fingertip to do so). They dried down to a transfer-resistant finish that felt "matte" in the sense of being flat/not glossy, but the finish itself was more metallic and sparkling overall. They didn't feel as clingy, dry, or as tight as I expected, though on their own, they didn't feel the most comfortable. They were most comfortable, on the lips, when patted over a more matte lip product or topped with clear balm or gloss. I found that creamier lipsticks tended to "eat" the shimmer and cover it up rather than letting it come through. The wear was between four and five hours.

On the cheeks, they spread easily over the skin and diffused gradually along the edges both over bare skin as well as patted over liquid foundation (without lifting up the base). It dried down and looked sparkly without looking chunky, dirty, or gritty on the skin. I was surprised to find it to be rather versatile formula--I could get moderate glow or get really intense, shiny, sparkly results depending on how much I applied. They lasted eight to nine hours on my cheeks.
