DJ is a rich, rusty copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin with even, smooth coverage. The eyeshadow felt smooth, slightly wet to the touch, but it performed and acted a lot like a powder eyeshadow once applied to my lid. It stayed on nicely for 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.
