ColourPop Brucie Matte Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deep, muted bluish-teal with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in a single layer, which applied fairly evenly across my lips, but there was light patchiness in places (especially my cupid's bow area and the left and right areas of my lower lip). The deeper color made it harder to tell in person, especially as the color seemed to stain my lips a grayish-purple hue, which helped to camouflage the imperfect application.
The consistencyw as creamy, smooth, and lightweight without being too slippery that it feathered or slid around during wear, though I felt like it was a bit overly emollient and that was what led to the patchier application. I'd recommend pairing this with a lip liner or lip primer to mitigate the patchiness, as it was slight and fixable. It stayed on well for five hours, left a stain behind, and was lightly moisturizing over time.
