ColourPop Weekend Warrior Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.20 oz.) includes four shades of powder eyeshadow--yes, powder!--the brand's first release featuring their new formula. The pressed powder formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" with an "ultra-velvety" and "silky" texture that is "long-wearing." It's a solid formula, so I'm definitely curious to try and see more shades from them in the future but hope we'll see a little refinement over time. The texture of their formula was soft, a little powdery, but there was substance to it--I wouldn't say dense, but it wasn't thin or prone to sheering out, just that there was a lot of excess product kicked up in the pan and some fallout during application. The pigmentation varied from shade to shade, though they were all buildable. I had no trouble blending out any of the four shades, and they lasted between seven and eight hours on me.
A highly pigmented formula that applies evenly and feels super velvety. This long-wearing shadow contains a unique combination of soft powders that adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.
