Chanel La Petillante (49) Rouge Allure Velvet ($36.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a "coral red." It's a brightened, pink-red that has a very slight warmth to it and a satin-matte finish. It was nearly opaque applied to lips with a lightweight, velvety texture that was fairly thin but was comfortable to wear and applied well. It lasted for six hours on me and was neither drying nor hydrating. MAC Carmine Rouge (LE, $30.00) is redder. Lipstick Queen Have Paris (P, $50.00) is warmer. MAC La Vie En Rouge (LE, $16.00) is more matte. Bobbi Brown Watermelon (P, $26.00) is lighter. NARS Grace (P, $32.00) is lighter. Kat Von D Bachelorette (P, $21.00) is more matte, pinker. Givenchy Rouge Egerie (305) (P, $36.00) is warmer, lighter. Chanel La Malicieuse (46) (P, $34.00) is pinker, lighter. MAC All Fired Up (P, $16.00) is more matte, pinker.
