Chanel Energie Rouge Allure Gloss ($37.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is a bright pop of orange-red with warm undertones and faint gold pearl.
The formula is supposed to have the "colour intensity of a lipstick" with the "lacquered shine of a lipgloss" that is "long-wearing." It had semi-opaque pigmentation and felt primarily like a lipgloss. There was a touch of color that pulled into my deeper lip lines, but the color applied evenly and did not appear streaky. The texture was moderately tacky, spread decently (but this particular shade seemed tackier to me than I remember the formula being), and comfortable to wear, as it was hydrating over time. It wore well for five and a half hours on me.
