Chanel Gris Exquis Ombre Essentielle / Soft Touch Eyeshadow ($28.50 for 0.07 oz.) is a limited edition single eyeshadow described as "an elegant dove grey." The Soft Touch formula is finely milled and can be applied wet or dry. Gris Exquis has a soft, silky feel against the skin, and the softness enables it to apply smoothly and blend out easily. It's a satiny medium-dark gray--it doesn't lean blue or brown. I like how it doesn't venture into charcoal territory, but it's also not too light that it starts looking silvery. theBalm's Inspirational looks more gunmetal-like and has a more metallic finish. Inglot #339 comes the closest but almost looks a bit purpled around the edges in comparison.
