Pat McGrath Bronze Divinity, Bronze Venus, Carnal Desire LUST Lip Glosses Reviews & Swatches
Bronze Divinity
Pat McGrath Bronze Divinity LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium, rosy plum with warm, gold and pink sparkle and finer pearl. It had medium color coverage, as described, that applied evenly and smoothly across my lips with a plush, thicker (but not heavy nor tacky) consistency that was comfortable to wear. What I find most impressive about this formula is how smoothing it is–my lip lines are almost nonexistent! The gloss lasted well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$30.00/0.15 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "multidimensional shine" with a "non-sticky texture" that "nourishes" with "exceptional adherence." The opacity ranges from "opaque to transparent." The color coverage really does vary quite a bit, but most of the shades I've tried are sheer to medium in coverage--the brand could be clearer on which shades are opaque.
The consistency has a smooth, lightweight texture that wasn't tacky and was comfortable to wear. For the most part, they didn't seem to sink into my lip lines, which can be a pitfall of gloss. I didn't find the wear time to be better than average--three to four hours--but the formula was moderately hydrating. There was a subtle vanilla scent but no discernible taste when worn.

Bronze Venus
Pat McGrath Bronze Venus LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium, rosy copper with flecks of pink and gold sparkle. It had semi-sheer pigmentation, though it was listed as medium coverage, that applied evenly to my lips and distrubted the sparkles/shimmers well. The consistency was smooth, non-sticky, plush (more gel-like), and thicker without being heavy. It stayed on well for four hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Carnal Desire
Pat McGrath Carnal Desire LUST Lip Gloss ($28.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, pink-red with flecks of gold, red, and fuchsia sparkle. The gloss had semi-sheer pigmentation (supposed to have medium coverage) in a single layer with an even distribution of the shimmer/sparkle across my lips. The consistency was smooth, lightweight but thicker and plusher in feel, which helped to hide the texture of the glittery bits. This shade wore nicely for four hours and was hydrating over time.

Bronze Divinity is pure love! And I suppose it should be, considering that I have Fenty Fu$$y, MAC Caketop and Becca Beach Nectar, huh? LOL!….yet, I still want Bronze Divinity, too.
Why does PMG’s stuff have to be so pretty? I especially love Carnal Desire.
I really love the lip line minimizing of these products. At 65 I have lip lines for days. Carnal Desire is my favorite and I will definitely be checking it out in Seattle when I go there next.
I think these three might be my faves so far but. Rinse Divinity is, well, divine!
Loving Carnal Desire!
Is Carnal Desire not available at Sephora? I’m not seeing it on the website.
These really interest me, but I looked at the price of Pat McGrath in Australian Sephora and nearly fell over. I get they are a luxury price point but it feels hard to spend that kind of money now there are so many GOOD options at lower price points.
