OFRA x NikkieTutorials Cloud 9 Highlighter Review & Swatches
Cloud 9
OFRA Cloud 9 Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a soft, pale vanilla with a pink-to-peach shifting pearl. It had opaque pigmentation with a luminous sheen–it was far more subtle than I expected compared to past experiences with the brand’s highlighters. If I applied another layer, it did intensify the shine/shimmer, but I could easily see this working for those who prefer a light-to-moderate finish in their highlighters. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and picked up well with a brush and diffused easily across my cheek bones. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$29.00/0.35 oz. - $82.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "liquid to baked technology" that has "unparalleled pigment payoff" that can be used as a highlighter as well as an eyeshadow or as a blush topper." It's a very pigmented formula with a high-shine, metallic finish that will be most suitable for someone who wants an intense highlighter.
The texture was denser but not dry or difficult to work with, so it seemed to melt onto the skin the more I buffed and blended the highlighter on. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading noticeably.

This looks really beautiful on you. Also love the eye look and the lip color, so so smooth!
Super pretty shade, but I worry that it may have too white of a base on it. Like it might appear chalky on my cheeks?
I don’t see the white base at all on Christine’s face demo, but I get what you mean. If you’re a few shades deeper than her it might be a good idea search for more swatches online and/or swatch it (if it’s possible with ofra…haha) 🙂
This looks lovely! I’m always attracted to shades like this that are more of a warm pink and don’t pull more lavender. And I love that it’s not super metallic. I may have to check this one out. I wonder how similar it is to Becca Vanilla Quartz?
I wondered the same thing, and I’d say Vanilla Quartz has a slightly warmer yellower base, which gives it kind of a bronzy sheen on the skin, as opposed to true pink. I own it already, and I think I’ll stick to it ^^
What a gorgeous highlight! I thought the white base would be more prevalent on skintones that are deeper than fair(lol) , but it looks gorgeous on your skin!
