OFRA Covent Garden Highlighter Review & Swatches
Covent Garden
OFRA Covent Garden Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a bright, light pink with strong, warm undertones and a high-shine, metallic finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly on my skin but blended out effortlessly. The texture was smooth to the touch, lightly creamy, and wasn’t powdery but still picked up well with a brush. When I wore it for swatches, it seemed to emphasize skin texture ever-so-slightly at nearly full coverage, but when I wore it for testing longevity, I didn’t find it emphasized texture, so it was definitely right on the edge. The highlighter lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$29.00/0.35 oz. - $82.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "liquid to baked technology" that has "unparalleled pigment payoff" that can be used as a highlighter as well as an eyeshadow or as a blush topper." It's a very pigmented formula with a high-shine, metallic finish that will be most suitable for someone who wants an intense highlighter.
The texture was denser but not dry or difficult to work with, so it seemed to melt onto the skin the more I buffed and blended the highlighter on. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading noticeably.

I love this one!
This is just such a beautiful looking highlighter! I normally don’t even look at pink highlighters, but this one seems doable even on my complexion!
I think because its such a warm pink and deeper in tone. It would look fantastic on you, Nancy.
Thank you for that, Wednesday! Now I’m just waiting to see it on Ulta’s site. Hopefully before Sept. 2nd.
Do you know why Ofra highlighters are $35 on their website but $29 at Ulta? It seems to be all of them, not just newer shades.
No idea!
It’s not just this product. Ulta is more often than not a few $ less than Ofra.com. I noted that in the Ulta comments about an Ofra LL set…maybe Manny? At least $5 less expensive, and Ulta would not print it, despite the price comparison being to their advantage. Makes you wonder…
There’s something about OFRA highlighters that bugs me, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe… they’re so reflective that if the base color isn’t lighter than the skin color, it almost looks like a shadow underneath the gleam…?
I dunno. I don’t love them, though I’m glad others do. Different strokes and all that.
That ‘splains it. Good analysis and I think you nailed it ? and some days, I do like the effect.. will use an h/l as a blush. There’s one in the Nars cheek palette too (first iteration)
Swatch totally put me in mind of MUG Lustre. I think I still have it kicking around because it was very unique to my stash at the time.
I love a good pink highlighter. This one looks amazing. It has a nice, very slight, peachy tone to it.
I love shades like this! ?
TBH – I love that shade as an eyeshadow!
