NARS Tempted Blush Review & Swatches
Tempted
NARS Tempted Powder Blush ($30.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light-medium peach with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, but the texture was slightly drier and thinner, so it was easy to use a lighter hand or less-dense brush to get sheerer, more buildable coverage if preferred. The powder applied evenly to my cheeks and diffused nicely along the edges with little effort. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading was present.

From NARS’ website, their blush formula is described as “beautifully pigmented” and “soft [and] blendable.” NARS' blushes, since they've been released in such a massive range of shades over the years, can vary from shade to shade to some degree. Most shades are pigmented with firmer, slightly stiffer consistencies that can also run on the thinner side, which allows greater control when picking up product but some of the more matte shades could be a bit more blendable or easier to work with.
Some of the more newly-released shades have softer, more yielding textures that are a bit creamier and are easier to blend out, though most of NARS' blushes are fairly blendable. The wear typically ranges from eight to nine hours with a few shades falling above or below this range.

That’s really pretty on you! Probably just a little too light for me, though. But I may still check it out at Sephora just to see. Lately, I’m loving luminous blushes like this. Probably why I’ve been using Melt Nevermore Blushlight so much this winter.
How does tempted compare to sugar spirit from the nars hot fix palette? Possible dupe?
Sorry, I don’t have that! FYI, you can compare any two shades I’ve swatched using the “compare any two” tool right on this page. It is the best way to compare shades immediately rather than wait for my slow self to respond to you.
This is a very pretty color for every day. I’ve always quite liked the Nars blush formula and planned on picking up one of the new shades. This might be the one!
Another beautiful shade from Nars blushes but i think it might be too light for my NC30 skin tone. Will check it out at Sephora.
Now that’s a really pretty shade, I am not quite sure whether it would be too peachy for me, but it is beautiful on you.
This looks really pretty a little like Marc Jacobs “Jet Girl“ p.s……( it’s on sale at Sephora now for $39.00 )
which I love for Summer .
Oh yes! Must see if I have a dupe, if not, maybe my spring color!
